Your Questions, Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the main difference between a Port and an Off-Sheet Connector?

Ports are typically used in hierarchical designs to connect different levels (e.g., from a top sheet to a sub-sheet), creating a parent-child relationship. Off-Sheet Connectors, on the other hand, are used to link flat, multi-page schematics at the same level, like pages in a book.

When should I use a Bus instead of individual Net Labels?

Use a Bus when you have a group of related, sequential signals (like a data bus D0, D1, D2…D7). This cleans up the schematic visually. For unrelated signals that need to be grouped, a Harness is often a better choice. For single signals, a Net Label is sufficient.

What kind of placement assistance is provided?

We offer comprehensive placement support including resume building, mock interviews with industry experts, and exclusive access to our network of over 200 hiring partners in the hardware and electronics industry. Our goal is to not just teach you, but to ensure you land your dream job.
